Charles has been encouraging me to get back on the free weights bandwagon. I fell off a couple of months ago when a combination of crazy travel for work plus sore neck and back left me sidelined. When Charles realized I would be on the road for most of July and likely not to be able to do steady workouts he put his encouragement efforts into high gear.
This morning we left the gym after a particularly tough weights session. I had bested by previous workout (just 2 days ago) in overall reps and weights for the excercises he has chosen for me (squats, hamstring curl, inclined row, bench press and crunch).
As we slowly walked to the car in the thick of the humidity Charles turned to me and asked, "How was your session?" I smiled triumphantly, "I was mighty!"
